What to Expect

1What time does service start?
Sunday at 10:45 am, in the Sanctuary.
2Where do I park?
We have parking up front which can be entered from Jessee Street or Memorial Blvd. Additional parking is also located in the rear of the church in the Ross N Robinson Middle School parking lot on Jessee Street.
3How do I get to the Sanctuary?
From the front parking lot, come into the doors on the right side of the church through the welcome center. From the rear parking lot, come through the door into the foyer/narthex.
4Are the sermons live or on video?
Our sermons are delivered live, typically by our Pastor Ron Lowe. Additionally we stream our sermons to Facebook Live.
5Do you have childcare and can I bring my kids?
Yes! We love kids at Kingsport Community Church and offer age appropriate setting from nursery-5th grade to learn about Jesus on their level and have fun with other kids. Nursery is available from 10:45 am to noon. About 10-15 minutes into worship, we have a children's lesson up front and after that time, children are invited to follow our Children's Director, Ms. Teresa Anderson to the kids area. They have crafts, learn about Jesus, and snacks. Additionally, if you'd prefer your children to remain with you during the service they are welcome.
6What is a typical service like?
Each service is around an hour and 15 minutes with worship, Bible based preaching, announcements, offering, etc. We offer a blended worship service with a mixture of Contemporary Christian and traditional hymns. One or 2 Sundays a month, we have a praise team who leads worship through a more contemporary setting.
7What should I wear?
Most of us wear casual clothes or business casual, however if you dress up you won't be out of place. If you're comfortable in a t-shirt great! If you prefer a suit, no problem!
8Are there people who can help when I first visit?
Yes! We have greeters at the door who can guide you and answer any questions you may have.
9Do you have Sunday School or Small Groups?
Yes! Our Sunday Morning Groups start at 9:30 am. We offer several groups from children all the way through adults.
10Where do I find a Sunday Morning Group?

There is an additional group which meets in the Oasis Cafe/Fellowship Hall area (between Sanctuary and Family Life Center) For 6th-8th grade, 9th-12 grade, or college students meet in the Family Life Center (far left side of church from the front of building).
