At Kingsport Community Church, we work as a family of God. Simply put, you won't be judged or met with guilt. No matter your hurts and hangups you're welcome to join us worship God and grow in faith together. We offer a variety of ways to grow together through service and mission, to our blended and casual worship experience, and through our small groups. We won't push you to commit to our family but want you to come on your own terms. Come and be a part of our family and join a group!
Young Marrieds/Young Family Group
Our newest group focuses on connecting young families to our church culture. This group is being designed around a variety of small groups on Sunday and throughout the week! They'll be small group bible studies, adventures, service & missions, food, and a building of community. Childcare will be provided.
This group is still in the early and planning stages but we're excited out the possibilities of the future!

Nursery
Our Nursery Team is made up of a variety of experienced people who love children and understand they are the future.
This ministry is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment to grow and make friends with one another. Nursery is provided every Sunday morning and on occasion during special activities that take place throughout the year.
Children
Our Children’s Ministry Team is made up of experienced people who love children and find great fulfillment in serving the Lord in this special ministry led by our Children's Director, Teresa Anderson.
This ministry is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children to learn about God’s love and to grow in their faith. Special activities take place during Sunday school, morning worship services and Sunday and Wednesday evening programs weekly. Games, crafts and snacks are often used to enhance the learning experience.
Teen Students
The Teen Student Ministry of Kingsport Community Church is for 6th grade through 12th grade. We focus on providing a loving place for all students where they can explore and affirm who they are as children of God in a safe and secure Christian environment.
Through our worship, mission opportunities, retreats, fun nights and Bible studies, we seek to grow in love toward God and toward each other by cultivating a community of faith and friendship.
College & Young Adult
Our College & Young Adult Group is for young adults 18-35. We focus on providing a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere to build friendships and grow closer to Christ together.
We meet every other Thursday at the Smith House for a casual bible study where we hang out, study the Word and eat great food! Throughout the year we participate in the Student's Johns Island, SC mission trip, take several fun adventures and hiking trips each year as well as a New Years Retreat in Nashville .
Adult Fellowship
Are you interested in developing relationships with other positive adult believers on the journey of life and faith?
Well you have found the right group. The Adult Fellowship is just that - Christians coming together to fellowship in an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere as we share life's adventures together.
Choir
If the highest purpose of mankind is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever music is a joyful expression of that purpose.
Kingsport Community Church aspires to maintain a tradition of excellence in music and the arts with a dynamic program of Christian music.
If you have musical talents and love God we would welcome your involvement in our choir. A personal relationship with Christ as Savior and Lord, and a consistent devotional time with Him will enrich not only your life but your contribution to the church’s worship.
Praise Team
Our worship style is blended and frequently, we'll have our Praise Team lead worship. This team works to glorify God through our worship and sings a variety of Contemporary Christian songs and styles.
We could always use more singers and instrumentalists (guitar, drums, piano, bass, etc.). The team holds practice every 1st and 3rd Monday evening at 7pm in the Sanctuary.
Worship Aids & Production
At Kingsport Community Church, there are many opportunities in our worship aids, production, and media group. From running the audio mixer on Sunday mornings to the worship slide projection and setting up for special events, there is a lot that goes into our production.
No experience? No problem. We offer training and a lot of what we do is easier than you'd think!
Drama Team
Each year depending on our worship programming, the Drama Team will perform various dramas and skits. You don't have to have experience to participate or have a large speaking part. There is always a role for you!
Typically we'll perform during the Easter and Christmas seasons but on occastion there are other opportunities.
